  American Legacy Foundation's Tobacco Survey Database (Database) This database houses a comprehensive compilation of surveys dealing with tobacco-related issues such as youth tobacco use, environmental tobacco smoke, cessation, and youth access. It was designed to serve as a tool for researchers, students, public health officials, and others involved in survey design or simply interested in tobacco control issues.

Questionnaire Items from Population Surveys of Tobacco Use in Canada (Database) A searchable database of tobacco questions has been developed from a wide range of Canadian population surveys. The database contains over one thousand questions and is intended to provide researchers and program evaluators with reliable and valid survey questions that will allow comparisons with other jurisdictions. The questions were gathered from 55 national, provincial and local surveys conducted between 1977 and 1998.You can download a copy of the database by clicking the link above.
Question Inventory on Tobacco (QIT) (Database) The Question Inventory on Tobacco (QIT), a web-based tool developed by CDC's Office on Smoking and Health, categorizes more than 1000 tobacco-related questions. This site can be used to collect information on survey questions used in the past, locate available data for secondary analyses, and gather ideas for future instrument development.Included to date are questions from 11 different health surveys, most of which are national surveys published on or after 1990.
