
RAM's role is to facilitate matching and initial connection of researchers in developing countries with their peer experts, and provide the two parties with the online tools necessary to facilitate their ongoing collaboration. The form, length, and intensity of collaboration initiated under RAM being the sole responsibility of the collaborative parties.

Mentors indicate their level of availability and may decline a request for assistance or terminate any ongoing collaboration without further explanation.

Researchers may decline an offer for assistance or terminate any ongoing collaboration without an explanation.

There is no restriction on the number of assistance requests a mentor can and decides to accept. However, researchers may only post up to 3 projects at a time and send up to 9 requests for assistance.

A request for assistance may be sent to different mentors for different aspects of a project.
